Living It Up

Last weekend, I caught up with family and friends.

It had only been about three months since I last met up with these friends, but a lot has changed. I've been travelling, and my friends have been finding relationships, starting new hobbies, changing career paths. We've been living it up. It's amazing to see your friends doing well and finding happiness.

I also caught up with my sister and cousin. I grew up with my sister, but in recent years we've been apart living our own adult lives. Meanwhile I was geographically apart from my cousin until she recently moved here a little over a year ago.

I got to see both my sister and cousin interacting with their close group for the first time. While we're very different socially, it's still great to see family surrounded by so much love and support. They are living it up.

I'm grateful for the blessings and the stories my family, friends and I get to share with each other. Life is short, so go catch up your loved ones.
